Priscilla Presley was spotted in public following the bombshell $50 million lawsuit that has accused her of cutting off Lisa Maries care to regain control of Elvis’ estate
Priscilla Presley has been spotted in public for the first time since being hit with a bombshell $50 million lawsuit accusing her of withdrawing medical care from her daughter Lisa Marie Presley, in an alleged bid to regain control of the Presley estate.
In newly surfaced photos, Priscilla was seen in Los Angeles on Thursday wearing a black and white striped shirt, casual black pants and a face mask as she was escorted away from her car.
The sighting comes after an explosive legal complaint was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on August 11 by her former business partners, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko. The lawsuit alleges Priscilla pulled the plug within hours of Lisa Marie being admitted to the hospital following a cardiac arrest in January 2023.
Lisa Marie, the only child of music legend Elvis Presley, was 54 when she died. The mother-of-four had inherited her fathers famed Graceland estate after his death in 1977, before passing it down to her daughter Riley Keough, 30.
The lawsuit claims Priscilla disregarded her daughters clear directive to prolong her life,'” allegedly acting in order to prevent Lisa from removing her as sole trustee of a significant life insurance trust.
Legal documents, seen by The Mirror US, also accuse Elvis’ widow of orchestrating a media statement in the hours after Lisa Maries death to “control the narrative.”
Kruse and Fialko are now seeking $50 million in damages, alleging fraud and breach of contract. They also claim Priscilla falsely accused them of elder abuse as part of a smear campaign following a failed business partnership.
Responding to the explosive claims, Priscillas powerhouse attorney Martin D. Singer slammed the case as one of the most shameful, ridiculous, salacious, and meritless lawsuits I have seen in my practice.
He continued, This is nothing more than a sad and vicious attempt to falsely tarnish the reputation of an 80-year-old woman in blatant retaliation.
This legal feud follows an earlier lawsuit filed by Priscilla herself in 2024, in which she accused the same pair – along with two others – of attempting to manipulate her finances and trap her in a form of indentured servitude where she would continue to work while they reaped the profits.
In response, the plaintiffs attorney Jordan Matthews stated that Kruse and Fialko have video recordings and communications that prove the business relationship was above board and entirely legitimate.
Singer, however, didnt hold back in his rebuttal, Accusing a grieving mother of contributing to her daughters death is not savvy advocacy; it is malicious character assassination, and should be broadly condemned. These fabricated claims have absolutely no validity, and we are confident this case will be dismissed.
Lisa Maries passing reignited family tensions, including a brief legal dispute between her daughter Riley and Priscilla over the Graceland trust, which was quietly resolved out of court.
