A fan favorite movie once labelled as the ‘greatest movie of all time’ is making a streaming comeback after landing on Peacock.
The film was nominated for seven Oscars after its release in 1994, and holds a 9.3 rating on IMDb, making it the highest-rated film on the site. A classic film that has stood the test of time, largely due to the star-studded cast, including Clancy Brown, Bob Gunton, William Sadler, Tim Robbins, and Morgan Freeman.
The movie is the iconic 90s film The Shawshank Redemption, which has become a fan favorite and is now available to stream. Ranked alongside another 250 films on IMDb, the full list includes the likes of The Godfather Part 2, The Dark Knight, and 12 Angry Men but the Morgan Freeman classic has been crowned the best.
